A showcase of the best of Japanese pop culture in the biggest city in America, Anime NYC brings anime fans and publishers together for three days of unique exhibits, exclusive screenings, extensive panels, and appearances by some of the biggest creators in Japan. Synthwave (aka outrun, retrowave, futuresynth) is italo disco-edged, retrofuturistic synth music influenced by 1980s film soundtracks and video games in both it's sound and visual aesthetic. It expresses a nostalgia for 1980s pop culture by capturing the era's atmosphere and celebrating it.

Flame Con 2018 brought together the queer fan community on an unprecedented scale. Drawing in over 7,000 attendees and nearly 400 creators to the two-day event, Flame Con continued to remain New York City’s largest queer comic con.

Flame Con 2019 will be bigger and better this year with more guests, more art, a new venue and more celebration.

This years evening celebration will take things to the next level. KupoCon is hosting the Insomnia Crystal Ball. An elegant evening offering you an opportunity to dress up and celebrate the royal wedding. Tickets are only $20 and can be purchased as an additional item during the purchase of a regular pass. From the creators of Dark Side Of The Con, we welcome steampunks, geeks, comic nerds, goths, punks, and alternative people of all kinds. Whether this is your first steampunk-themed event or you’re a veteran, Steampunk Con is the must-see event of 2019.

The antidote to the average con, Five Points brings tastemakers, misfits, and rebels together with the new, retro, and infamous in a one-of-a-kind marketplace.

Over 100 game developers will be showing off their latest games one-on-one to a crowd of up to 1000 people. For developers, this is a great opportunity to show off their games (finished or unfinished) and get direct feedback from players. For everyone else, it’s a unique opportunity to try out the biggest collection of games made in and around NYC all in one place. More games being added daily.

As usual, we will be hosting a variety of exciting events such as anime showings, game tournaments, artist alley, and informative panels. Our move from the Stevens campus to Secaucus will allow for larger guest stages, larger exhibition areas, parking for all attendees, and much more fun! In addition, our hours of operation will be of a full two-day convention. Come and experience anime and Japanese culture and have a fun-filled weekend!

Like any other convention, we have a team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff, all of whom contribute year-round toward the success of the convention. All officers and department heads are current students of Stevens Institute of Technology, but we also have volunteers from other student organizations in the NJ/NYC area as well as alumni from the Stevens Anime Club. We focus on being family-friendly (not to mention just friendly in general) and providing a social space that fans can come to and enjoy.
